Allen Street Gallery is dedicated to showcasing work at the intersection of architecture, art, and design that reshapes and interacts with the built environment. Founded by Leroy Street Studio as a design resource, the gallery serves as a platform for research, ongoing programming, and collaborative partnerships with resonant creatives and organizations.
More than just a space, Allen Street Gallery embodies everything Leroy Street Studio stands for: craft in construction and collaboration with our local New York City community. Since 1995, Leroy Street Studio has cultivated a thriving architectural practice spanning residential projects, community initiatives, and institutional work, allowing more people to have a direct hand in shaping their spaces.
Allen Street Gallery's curation correlates topically with this work, while expanding the exploration of these typologies from an artistic and critical stance. We aim to challenge and inspire, fostering dialogue between architecture, art, and the communities they serve.
